I am one of the few people who believe very strongly that if you are healthy from the inside, you will healthy from the outward too. Natural remedies and a healthy junk free diet play a vital role in maintaining your health.
Often I come up with my own recipes of natural remedies while others I find mostly on the internet, one such recipe are the ginger cucumber detox juice.
For this particular recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
4 inch knob of ginger
2 cup of parsley
dash of cayenne pepper
You can add water melon or honey dew to get a sweeter taste.
Cucumbers are excellent detox agents because they are mainly water. They hydrate your body and reduce all sorts of inflammation. They have a high content of calcium, potassium and Vitamin A, C and K.
Ginger is perhaps the best decongestant and is great to cure indigestion and sickness.
Cayenne pepper is a great anti-inflammatory agent and pain reliever. If you have had flu and sore throat persistently, you must take some cayenne pepper in whatever you are eating and you will see how effective it turns out to be.
1) Put the peeled cucumbers in the juicer, along with lime without its skin. Juice together the ginger, lime, parsley and cucumbers thoroughly.
2) Add ice as well as the cayenne pepper as much as you like.
3) its good to make sure that all the parsley and ginger have gone through. You can add celery too, but it will give a bit of salty taste to your juice.
4) Chill the juice, after making sure all the veggies have been crushed. You can also strain it to remove any chunks that weren’t processed rightly.
